Media Team
Irfan Shahzad (Founder and CEO)
An idealist and a visionary, Irfan came up with the whole idea of “Sarzameen”, now an emerging production house with a thriving client base. In the summer of 2007, while lamenting on the poor condition of Pakistan’s cinema and media scene, Irfan’s bolt of inspiration resulted in his buying a professional recording camera, his first ever. Three years later, the company is flourishing, and has evolved into SarzameenProduction.com
For a long time Irfan was affiliated with the highly successful but competitive telecommunication industry of Pakistan in the fields of sales and customer support. Out of his dream to make Oscar winning movies and documentary features, he joined the training course offered by the prestigious New York Film Academy and qualified in 2008. In 2010 he earned his MBA in Human Resource Management.
A Karachi native, Irfan is an active volunteer for disaster relief and has seen active duty during the great earthquake of Kashmir in 2005 and the devastating floods of Pakistan in 2010. Off work, Irfan enjoys watching cinema and playing with his 2 year old son.

Muniba Khurram (Head of Marketing / Public Relations)

Her work has been displayed at different art exhibitions in Islamabad. Muniba joined Sarzameen on a rainy day in the monsoon of 2011 and has immediately become the energy driving the marketing setup of Sarzameen, finding marketing solutions and devising innovative marketing strategies.
She moved to Islamabad from Quetta with her husband, and loves the warmer and sunny climate of the capital city. Although wheel chair bound because of a serious car accident, her spirit knows no bounds and she is the most active member of Sarzameen. It’s a glowing tribute to her will power and a testimony to her skills that she enjoys a rainbow of activities (a full time mother, a flourishing artist, a marketing and PR specialist and a part time volunteer social worker) and she is damn good at all of them.
